Welcome to RenoSouq (“we,” “us,” or “our”). RenoSouq operates the website renosouq.ae (the “Platform”), a home renovation marketplace connecting homeowners and property managers (“Customers”) with licensed renovation and maintenance contractors (“Contractors”) in the United Arab Emirates.
By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
RenoSouq is a marketplace platform. We connect Customers with Contractors but we are not a party to any agreement between a Customer and a Contractor. We do not perform renovation work, nor do we employ or supervise Contractors.
While we take steps to verify Contractors (including trade license checks, insurance verification, and review monitoring), we do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or timeliness of any work performed by Contractors.
Any contract for renovation work is strictly between the Customer and the Contractor. RenoSouq is not liable for any disputes, damages, delays, or defects arising from such agreements.
To use the Platform, you must:
Submitting a Quote Request is free and carries no obligation. By submitting a request, you consent to your project details being shared with matched Contractors for the purpose of providing quotes. You agree to provide accurate information about your project scope, budget, and timeline.
You are under no obligation to accept any quote or hire any Contractor matched through the Platform.
Any agreement you enter into with a Contractor is between you and the Contractor directly. We strongly recommend that you obtain a written contract detailing the scope of work, pricing, payment schedule, timeline, and warranty terms before any work begins.
Contractors must provide valid UAE trade licenses, proof of insurance, and accurate business information during registration. RenoSouq reserves the right to reject or remove any Contractor at its sole discretion.
Contractors may be charged a fee for receiving qualified leads through the Platform. Fee structures are communicated during the onboarding process and may be updated with reasonable notice.
Contractors must respond to leads promptly, provide honest and transparent quotes, deliver work as agreed, and maintain professional conduct at all times. Contractors who receive consistently poor reviews or fail to meet our quality standards may be suspended or removed from the Platform.
Contractors are solely responsible for maintaining all required trade licenses, permits, insurance, and compliance with UAE federal and emirate-level regulations, including Dubai Municipality requirements.
All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — is the property of RenoSouq or its content suppliers and is protected by UAE and international copyright laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our prior written consent.
By submitting reviews, photos, or other content to the Platform, you grant RenoSouq a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our Services.
You represent that any content you submit is accurate, does not infringe on any third-party rights, and does not contain defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading information. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RenoSouq shall not be liable for:
Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to RenoSouq (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RenoSouq, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) shall survive.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least 30 days.
